Meet Nolan

Nolan is the kind of dog who turns heads everywhere he goes - a towering Mastín/Alsatian cross with legs for days and the goofy energy of a teenager who hasn’t quite grown into them yet. When he first arrived at the shelter after being found wandering in Casares, he was painfully thin and clearly had a rough start. Fast forward to now, and thanks to good food, care and plenty of love, this giant youngster is feeling fantastic and ready to find his home.

Despite his impressive size, Nolan is all heart. He absolutely adores human attention and would happily lean his entire enormous frame against anyone willing to give him fuss and cuddles. He’s still learning the ropes and will need a patient owner to help him with training and confidence, especially around other dogs, but underneath it all is a sweet, loyal boy who just wants to belong. Think “oversized puppy” more than “serious guard dog”.

Living with a very large dog like Nolan comes with a few special considerations - extra space on the sofa may mysteriously disappear, food bills are definitely not tiny, and his tail could probably clear a coffee table in one enthusiastic wag. But giant breeds also bring something incredibly special: calm companionship, huge affection, and the sort of loyal friendship that fills a home with warmth, laughter, and a constant shadow beside you.
