Meet Angelo

If you're looking for a dog with a zest for life and a nose for adventure, allow us to introduce Angelo. This cheerful little hunter approaches every walk as though he's been personally assigned an important wildlife investigation. Bushes? Must inspect. Shrubs? Definitely suspicious. Rustling leaves? Potentially the most exciting thing that's happened all day.

Despite his enthusiasm for detective work, Angelo is surprisingly polite on the lead. While he may have the heart of an explorer, he also has a very affectionate side. Angelo loves a good fuss and cuddle, and if you're not careful, he'll reward your affection with a complimentary face wash. His kisses are generous, enthusiastic, and entirely unavoidable.

One of Angelo's loveliest qualities is his ability to fit in wherever he goes. He has shared his kennel with nervous, under-socialised dogs who needed reassurance, as well as confident, outgoing dogs who like to be the centre of attention. Angelo seems to instinctively understand canine social dynamics and is perfectly happy finding his place within the group.

As a Podenco cross, Angelo comes with many of the traits that make these dogs such wonderful companions. Podencos are intelligent, athletic, affectionate dogs who thrive on adventure and interaction with their people. They enjoy exploring the world through their noses and eyes, so interesting walks, opportunities to sniff, and a chances to explore are all high on their wish list. While they can be energetic outdoors, many Podencos are experts at switching off afterwards and curling up for a well-earned snooze.

Angelo is funny, friendly, adaptable, and endlessly entertaining. Whether he's conducting important shrub inspections, making friends with everyone he meets, or attempting to kiss your entire face in one go, life is simply more enjoyable with Angelo around. All he needs now is a family to join him on his next great adventure.
