Meet Kiera

Kiera's world was turned upside down when she was surrendered by her owners in her senior years. After spending so much of her life in a home, arriving at a shelter must have been a huge shock. But if there's one thing Kiera reminds us, it's just how remarkable dogs are. Despite everything she's been through, her gentle Labrador heart continues to shine. She has greeted her new life with quiet grace, proving that love, kindness and her wagging tail can overcome even the biggest changes.

Kiera is everything you could wish for in a companion. Cuddles? She's first in the queue. Company? She'll happily wander over to see what you're up to. She gets on beautifully with her fellow Adana dogs, enjoys a good sniff around the shelter, and is never far away when there's affection on offer. She has the sweetest, most soulful expression that seems to ask only one question: "Will you stop for a moment and say hello?" The answer is always yes, it's impossible to walk past this lovely girl without giving her a fuss.

At 11 years old, Kiera is in good health and has so much love still to give. Senior dogs are some of the most rewarding companions you could ever hope to meet. They're past the whirlwind puppy stage, usually have lovely manners, are happy to enjoy life's simple pleasures, and ask for little more than a comfortable bed, gentle walks and someone to love. They have a wonderful way of fitting into family life, and the gratitude they show when given a second chance is something truly special.

Kiera deserves to spend her golden years exactly as they should be spent - surrounded by love, comfort and people who will cherish her for the beautiful soul she is.
