Meet Trip

Little Trip has already packed more into his young life than any puppy should. At barely six weeks old, he was found alongside his equally pocket-sized companion, Shula, after the pair had been left behind in an empty house when their owner moved away. Thankfully, they were rescued just in time.

With his soft brown-and-white coat, slightly scruffy face and those wonderfully long puppy legs, Trip is growing into quite the handsome boy. And now that he’s had time to find his paws, we’re beginning to see more of his sparkling personality too. Trip is lively, playful and full of curiosity - and as far as he’s concerned, pretty much any moment is a good moment for fun.

We were delighted when Trip found a home, but sadly, as he grew bigger, he was returned to the shelter through no fault of his own. It was another unexpected change for a young dog who has already had more than his fair share. He’s now back in our care, and although he may be looking a little more grown-up, don’t be fooled - Trip is very much a puppy, and all the things that come with that are firmly part of the package!

For Trip, all time is play time, rules are still waiting to sink in, and there is always something more interesting to investigate. He’s loads of fun, but he isn’t the finished article just yet. Like any puppy, he’ll need patience, consistency and training, along with plenty of opportunities to learn how to become the wonderful adult dog he’s destined to be. In return, you’ll get to watch his personality unfold and enjoy all the entertaining moments that come with growing up together.

If you’re looking for a young dog who will keep you on your toes, make you laugh and give you plenty of opportunities to practice your patience, Trip could be your boy. Come and meet him - just be prepared for a puppy who has energy to spare, a world to discover and a lot of growing up still to do.

After all he’s been through, we think it’s time Trip finally found the trip home he truly deserves.
