Choco

Little Choco is as sweet as his name suggests.

He and his little pal Sacha were spotted wandering dangerously close to the A7 near Estepona before being safely brought to Adana by a kind member of the public. Since arriving at the shelter, Choco settled in faster than a chocolate button melting in the sun. He quickly made friends with the other dogs in his pen and has shown everyone what a gentle little soul he is.

Like many podencos, Choco can be a little shy at first - more delicate soft caramel centre than bold espresso truffle - but give him a moment, approach him softly, and you’ll soon discover the dearest little soul. Once he plucks up the courage to come over for a hello, his warm personality shines through. He absolutely adores his walkies, trots beautifully on the lead, and takes in the world with those curious podenco eyes. Podencos are wonderfully affectionate, intelligent dogs known for forming deep bonds with their people. They are sensitive, loyal companions who love comfort, company, and a cosy sofa almost as much as they love an adventure outdoors.

Choco is ready to leave shelter life behind and find a family of his own - somewhere warm, safe and full of love. After his difficult start, this little chocolate drop deserves the sweetest happy ending imaginable.
