Hi everyone, my name is Cleo!

I’m just a young, gentle little soul with a heart that still believes in love, even after everything I’ve been through... I still carry hopeful spirit in my floppy ears and waggy tail. I might not have had the easiest start in life, but I’ve never stopped believing that kind humans exist - and that cuddles are one of the best things in the whole wide world.

I do have a little quirk… I´m blind in one eye, so sometimes the world surprises me from that side. I might pause for a second to figure things out, but then I remember - I’m safe when I’m with people who are kind. And then my tail goes straight back to wagging again. I just love being close, leaning in, and soaking up affection like it’s sunshine. (Sunbathing is my second favourite thing)

Right now though, I really need a bit of extra help. I’ve been struggling with a painful paw infection - one of my back feet went through something very traumatic in my past life - no one knows exactly what, but it’s been hurting me for a long time. Sadly, the shelter isn’t the best place for me to heal properly, and I’m starting to really feel it, although I never let it hold me back from running around and my beloved walkies.

What I need most in the world is a calm, loving forever home… or even a foster home, just for a little while, where I can finally heal, rest and feel safe. Even a few weeks of comfort would mean everything to me.
