Kiro

Meet Kiro

Kiro had been spotted wandering around Estepona for some time before someone finally managed to persuade him that humans could be trusted enough to come along with them. It is pretty clear that this little Podenco has known family life before, so for whatever reason his circumstances changed, he has somehow found his way to us - and he is now ready to get on with the next chapter.

He is a confident little guy, especially by Podenco standards, and he is an absolute sweetheart. Affectionate, friendly and happy to meet new people, he also mixes beautifully with all the dogs he has met so far. He loves his walkies and is a good boy on the lead, although every suspicious rustle must, naturally, be investigated thoroughly - because a Podenco takes his job as chief countryside detective very seriously.

Like many Podencos, Kiro is bright, curious and wonderfully tuned in to the world around him, with plenty of energy and a nose and ears that are permanently on duty. Give him interesting walks, things to sniff and investigate, and a little room to stretch his legs, and you will have one very happy Pod. With his lovely nature and easy-going attitude, Kiro looks ready to swap his wandering days for a proper home and a family of his own.
