Mila

Meet Mila

Gentle, sweet and adorable - yes, we know these are the sort of words you see in dog profiles all the time, but in Mila’s case, we can promise that every single one is true! Found wandering in Manilva and arriving at Adana at just over a year and a half old, this lovely girl has a striking short-haired tricolour coat with markings that are entirely her own. There’s still a definite hint of puppy about her, too: trusting, playful, snuggly and sporting a grin that could melt the iciest of hearts.

Mila has a wonderfully bubbly personality and is a natural charmer. She’ll have you smiling before you’ve even got through the gate, ready to greet you as if you’re the best thing that’s happened all day. She fitted straight into the pack, taking the comings and goings in her stride and making herself right at home among her new friends. We suspect she may have belonged to someone at some point, although her early history is a mystery. She may have a few things to learn about life in a home, but with that trusting nature and eagerness to be involved, she has everything going for her.

As a Podenco/Pointer cross, Mila has a bright, sharp mind and a naturally curious outlook on life. Both types are known for their keen noses, athleticism and enthusiasm for exploring the world, so there’s a clever, adventurous companion in there waiting to be discovered. She loves her walkies and wants to be part of everything, although, sadly, she has arrived with a badly healed injury to one of her front legs which we are currently investigating. For now, she struggles to put weight on it for extended periods, but nobody seems to have told Mila that she's supposed to slow down. She still wants to be involved in every greeting, every bit of fun and every little bit of action going on around her.

We’re hoping to find Mila a future full of the things she deserves: affection, companionship, new adventures when she’s ready, and a cosy spot to curl up with her favourite people. She has so much personality packed into one very special girl - come and meet her and prepare to fall for her infectious enthusiasm and a smile that seems to say, “Well, what are we waiting for?” Your new best friend might just be standing at our gate...
