Pudding

Pudding is a handsome, middle-aged Bodeguero with a heart of gold and a nose for absolutely everybody's business.

Spend five minutes at the shelter and you'll spot him happily following the comings and goings... New volunteer? Pudding knows. Dog going for a walk? Pudding's watching. Someone rustling a treat bag? Well, now he definitely needs to investigate... Curiosity is practically written into the Bodeguero rulebook!

If you've never had the pleasure of sharing your life with a Bodeguero, you're in for a treat. They're bright, curious, affectionate little dogs with bags of personality. Originally bred to work in Spanish wine cellars, these clever dogs love having a job to do - even if that job is simply supervising the household and making sure you're never lonely. They thrive on companionship, enjoy their walks, and are wonderfully entertaining little characters.

Pudding and his sister, Peanut, were found wandering together around Estepona and, thankfully, both arrived with us in good health. Pudding was carrying a few extra kilos, so we've put him on a sensible diet, but the good news is he's already losing weight, enjoys his daily walks, and is a pleasure to take out on the lead. He's proving that getting fit can still be fun.

We have managed to find a wonderful home for Peanut, now all Pudding needs is a family of his own. Someone who appreciates a dog with a curious mind, a gentle nature, and just the right amount of cheekiness. Whether he's accompanying you on walks, keeping watch over the neighbourhood, or simply making sure nothing exciting happens without him, Pudding is guaranteed to bring plenty of laughs, love and loyal companionship to the lucky people who take him home.
