Meet Harriet - or Hattie to her friends - a gorgeous little puppy with a big personality just waiting to bloom.

She and her brother Roan are part of our mystery "selection box" of five rescued puppies, all of whom were found together and brought safely to the shelter. They're currently enjoying life with our wonderful foster mum, who is helping each of them grow in confidence and showing us the unique little characters they're becoming.

Hattie and Roan are our two fluffy cubs of the bunch. Hattie, in particular, looks just like a cuddly bear - very much the "hug me teddy bear" variety rather than the "avoid in the woods" kind! Her soft, fluffy coat is already hinting at a beautiful mix of brindle and tricolour as she grows, making her every bit as striking as she is adorable.

When Hattie first arrived, she was one of the quieter puppies, happy to watch the world from a safe distance. But with love, patience and gentle encouragement, she's blossoming beautifully. These days she's discovering that people are rather wonderful and is becoming increasingly happy to wander over for cuddles and affection. Seeing her confidence grow is one of those heartwarming reminders that kindness really can change a life.

Like every puppy, Hattie is looking for a family ready to guide her through all the exciting stages of growing up. There will be first walks, first adventures and first discoveries, along with plenty of cuddles, laughter and unforgettable moments. With time, training and lots of love, she'll grow into a loyal companion who will always be delighted to see you.
