Meet Pinky
If her brother Perry is the puppy who arrives at the party with a party popper, Pinky is the one who wanders in looking gorgeous, says hello and charms everyone, then decides she might as well join in the fun!
Pinky was found in the Estepona area with her brother, both around 14 weeks old. They were lucky enough to arrive with clean bills of health, and Pinky has wasted no time settling into the important business of puppyhood. She is a beautiful little girl with a cheerful, sociable nature and a lovely balance of energy and calm. She is bubbly and playful, but doesn't feel the need to be involved in absolutely everything at quite the same speed as her brother.
There is something particularly endearing about Pinky. She is curious about the world, enjoys people and loves being part of the action, but she has a slightly softer, more easy-going way about her. She'll happily join a game, investigate whatever has caught everyone's attention and then, presumably, take a moment to consider her options. Although we're not making any promises about how long that moment will last!
At this age, Pinky is at the stage for discovering all about life. Everything is new, and her new family will have the opportunity to help shape the confident little dog she should become. There will be puppy training, toilet training, chewing, boundaries and the inevitable discovery that the most interesting object in the house is usually the one she's not supposed to have. That's all part of the package.
Chihuahuas may be tiny, but they are certainly not lacking in character. Originally from Mexico, they became popular companion dogs across Europe, including Spain. Sadly, their small size can sometimes lead people to underestimate what is involved in raising one. A Chihuahua isn't an ornament or a handbag accessory - they're bright, lively little dogs who need proper socialisation, training, exercise and plenty of interaction with their people.
Pinky's family will also need to remember that beneath that adorable exterior is a very small puppy who is still growing. Sensible handling, positive training and careful introductions to larger dogs will help her grow up feeling confident and secure.
We think Pinky has all the ingredients of a fabulous little companion: pretty, playful, sociable and full of personality, with just enough mischief to keep life interesting.
Could you be the person who gets to watch this gorgeous little girl grow up?
Come and meet Pinky - she may be small, but we're pretty sure she'll leave a very big impression.
