Meet Princesa...

Every princess deserves her castle, and our beautiful Princesa is waiting to find hers. This gorgeous one-and-a-half-year-old Galgo cross arrived at the shelter thanks to a kind-hearted person who found her wandering alone in Manilva and made sure she got to safety.

Princesa is the definition of sweet. If you're looking for a dog who thinks cuddles are a full-time job, she's your girl. She is constantly seeking out affection from staff and volunteers, gently nudging for attention and happily soaking up every bit of love she can get. Healthy, young, and full of life, she's ready to swap shelter life for adventures with her very own people.

Like many Galgos, Princesa has a gentle, sensitive nature. Galgos are known for being affectionate, loyal companions who are surprisingly relaxed at home despite their athletic build. They love a good run when the opportunity arises, but they're equally happy curling up beside their favourite humans for a cosy evening.

One thing she's still learning is walking on a lead. In fact, she seems completely baffled by the whole concept and may never have been walked on one before. Right now, she's a little confused and unsure, but with patience, kindness, and a few tasty treats, we're confident she'll soon figure it out. She's already shown us how eager she is to trust and connect with people.
