Meet Raphael, professional mischief-maker, part-time land shark and full-time adorable puppy.

This handsome little Pointer Cross arrived at the shelter with his brother Sebastian when they were just nine weeks old, and it's safe to say Raphael has embraced puppyhood with great enthusiasm. If there's a game to be played, Raphael is ready. Invent a completely new game involving anything available? He's already on it.

Like many puppies his age, Raphael is currently going through what can only be described as his "open-mouth phase." Hands? Interesting. Ears? Fascinating. The corner of your jumper? Apparently irresistible. Fortunately, all of this comes wrapped up in one of the cutest little faces imaginable, making it very difficult to take offence. We suspect he knows this.

Once he's burned off his seemingly endless supply of puppy beans, however, a different Raphael appears. The whirlwind settles, the teeth disappear, and suddenly he's looking for cuddles, affection and somewhere cosy to snuggle up. It's hard work being this much fun, after all.

As a Pointer Cross, Raphael is likely to grow into an intelligent, active and affectionate companion. He'll need a family willing to invest time in training, socialisation and plenty of adventures.
