Meet Roan

Roan is one of our delightful "selection box" of five rescued puppies who were found together and brought safely to the shelter. Thanks to the loving care of our wonderful foster mum, he's growing in confidence every day, and we're beginning to see the wonderful little character hidden beneath all that fluff.

Along with his sister Hattie, Roan is one of the teddy bears of the bunch. But while Hattie has perfected the cuddly bear look, Roan seems to be aiming for a tiny lion! His gloriously fluffy coat frames his face like a miniature mane - thankfully without the roar. With his handsome blond coat and soulful eyes, he's the sort of puppy that makes people stop and smile before they've even said hello.

Like his sister, Roan was one of the quieter puppies when he first arrived. Everything was new and a little overwhelming, but with patience and kindness he's blossoming beautifully. He's now discovering that cuddles are one of life's greatest pleasures and is becoming more confident every day. We're delighted to hear that Roan is coming out of his shell, showing more confidence each day and discovering that he can initiate friendship.

Adopting a puppy is an adventure unlike any other.
