Trebisonda is one of four Podenco puppies who were rescued after being found abandoned in a bin, at about 8 weeks old . It's an unimaginably cruel start for any puppy, and sadly one that we see far too often. Thankfully, Trebisonda is now safe, cared for, and ready to find the loving home he has always deserved.

Like his siblings, Trebisonda is still discovering the world around him and growing in confidence every day. He's a sweet little boy with a timid nature at the moment, but keen to investigate something new or join in whatever is happening nearby. Whether he's tumbling around with his siblings, or exploring his surroundings, he approaches life with the curiosity that only a puppy can bring. And when all that hard work is done, he's more than happy to snuggle up for a well-earned nap.

Podencos are a familiar sight in shelters across Spain, where many are abandoned or surrendered despite being wonderful companions. Traditionally used as hunting dogs, they are intelligent, affectionate, and incredibly loyal when given the chance to become part of a family.
