Jason arrived in dreadful condition, the scarring around his neck testifying to a life spent chained up and a gaping hole where his previous owner seemed to have cut out his microchip. He cowered when approached but even then, would immediately cuddle in at the first, gentle touch.

It did not take long for Jason to realised that he was safe and loved, and he's made friends among dogs and volunteers, alike. He's a soft and gentle guy, utterly adoring of affection and always ready for a treat, which he'll take very gently. He's a strong lad, but walks well, on a loose lead, once the initial excitement has dissipated, and is very comfortable with most other dogs.

Now that his soft coat has overgrown his scars, he's a handsome dog, eager to please, gentle in nature, and deserving of much better than his early life has offered.

He arrived in February 2023 it’s time for him to find a loving forever home. Currently he is being fostered by one of our volunteers.
