Although I’ve known about ADANA for many years, it was not until 2021 that I started to be actively involved. My favourite input is taking our canine friends for a walk and I clock up an average of 8 dogs/10km on a Saturday morning. Just taking those bounding bundles out of the cages and feeling their joy of, space on all sides, rather than being shut in, is just wonderful. They don’t always want to drag you down the mountain, sometimes they need encouraging, but it is so rewarding. Like all ADANA volunteers I have an ADANA 4 legged friend at home, Eve and enjoy almost as much as she does, showing her that there is life beyond the shelter, with walking and road trips.

I have lived and work in Spain for many years and look forward to using all skills for promoting ADANA from this new position.
