Volunteer

My name is Colin I have been a volunteer at ADANA since 2018. I first volunteered when I came on holiday to the area and ever since then I have returned and now I spend the Winter here which allows me to get involved at the centre and get to know the dogs.

Working in a dog rescue centre is one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life. Each day brings new adventures, challenges, and countless moments of joy. The bond I have formed with the dogs and the profound satisfaction from helping them find forever homes is unmatched.

I enjoy our morning walks, where some of the dog get a chance to stretch their legs, explore new scents, and enjoy the fresh air. These walks are not just exercise but also an opportunity for me to build trust and form connections with the dogs.

I would encourage anyone to come along and help.

As a volunteer I also keep the Website updated showing our new arrivals and our wonderful adoptions.

I have adopted 3 dogs from Adana , Claro in 2018 and then Colton in 2022 and the latest is Rusty in 2024. Look forward to my next addition.
